We are proud of our relaxed, informal and welcoming atmosphere. We keep rules and bureaucracy to a very minimum but for the benefit of all members we have a code of conduct to help maintain the trust and sound relationships on which every successful club depends.
Caring, trusting and productive relationships are at the heart of every successful club. All members of Grantham Tennis Club have the right to a supportive and enjoyable experience through their membership. At the same time everyone has a duty of care towards other members and towards the fabric of the club itself. With this in mind Grantham Tennis Club has produced a code of conduct and set of Club rules to help guide the ways in which:
- Members treat each other
- Everyone can feel they have a say in the running of the Club
- The resources of the Club are shared equitably between members
- Members take all reasonable care of the courts, equipment and the clubhouse
- Any possible difficulties arising between members of the Club or in respect of care for the facilities can be swiftly and sensitively resolved

It is important to us that any member of the Club who has a concern - big or small - about the way things are going should feel able to address the matter straight away - initially seeking to resolve things face-to-face with the other club member(s) if appropriate. If this is not possible, then concerns should be raised with any member of the Club Committee and in this case every effort will be made to seek to resolve things to everyone's satisfaction at the very earliest opportunity
